Hallo,
Ich hänge gerade an einem Problem, undzwar hab ich vor ein paar Wochen einen Nagios Server aufgesetzt (CentOS 5.2).
Doch seit neuesten startet das System nicht mehr durch, der Bootvorgang bleibt immer bei "udev starten:" stehen und nichts passiert mehr.
Ich habe zwar letzte Woche auf 6.5.1 aktualisiert, jedoch weis ich jetzt nicht ob das daran lag da der Server währenddessen nur im Suspend war und nicht komplett runtergefahren. Die Frage ist nun, könnte es an der Workstation liegen oder doch eher am Linux (obwohl am System an sich nicht wirklich was verändert wurde...).
Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen.

das war ein Fehler!! Wenn Du im Suspend-Mode die Hardware veränderst, kann das nur schief gehen. Stell' Dir vor Du hast ein gebootetes System auf einem Notebook, klappst es zu, es geht in den Ruhezustand und dann baust Du die Festplatte in einen anderen Rechner ein und versuchst, das suspendierte System von der Festplatte im neuen Rechner weiter zu betreiben. Da stimmen die Treiber nicht mehr. Ich würde als erstes ein Backup machen und dann in der *.vmx die virtuelle Hardware wieder auf den alten Stand setzen, könnte klappen.

naja ich hab noch nen Snapshot das noch vor dem Update erstellt wurde, und da war das System heruntergefahren. Inwiefern soll ich ich die Hardware denn wieder auf den alten Stand bringen, ich weis nich so recht was ich da machen könnte...
