Image von aufgenommenem Win NT startet nicht.

Hallo, habe mit dem Vm Ware Tool ein Image im Betrieb von einem alten Windows NT Server aufgenommen und auch erhalten.

Beim Versuch es mit VM Ware zum laufen zu bekommen startet es jedoch nur mit einem schwarzen Bildschirm.

Ist vielleicht irgendeine Einstellung zu beachten, oder was mache ich sonst falsch?

ja, hab rebootet, beim start mit vmware gabs kurz das NT Bootbild und dann einen Bluescreen, aber auf der echten maschine lief NT für Jahre ohne Probleme.

Bluescreen weiss ich nicht mehr, ist das sehr wichtig?
Vll istr es nur eine Einstelllungssache oder so, bei einer anderen Geschichte wollte VMware erst auch nicht, musste erst CD Rom ausschalten.

Wenn ich vor Ort am Rechner bin probiere ich es aus, welcher BLuescreen es ist, ich weiss es leider nicht mehr.

Aber wenn es 7B wäre: ich habe gelesen das es der Moment ist, in dem die Treiber für Chipsatz, Controller, Sound, USB, usw. geladen werden.

Was kann man denn da machen, scheinbar ist die moderne Hardware (Dual Quad Xeon, 16 GB Ram, mehrere SAS im Raid) nicht kompatibel, oder?

Als allererstes probierst du am besten nochmal eine Configuration per Converter.
Du installierst dir Converter 3.0.3 - falls du den nicht schon hast und gibst die vmx des NT an.
Falls das klappt - gut - falls nicht - zeig das log

Ist Servicepack 6a installiert ?

Mit Vmware Server Console 1.0.6 build 91891.
Der PC hat 4 physikalische und die sind mit NT gespiegelt auf 2 Softwareraids.
Converter war das aktuellste was es am 17 Juni gab, da wurde es aufgenommen.




zu c000021a googeln werde ich nicht wirklich schlau, aber vielleicht ist es ja nur ne Sache wegen falschem Cd Rom oder so.

Hilfe wäre toll.
