Ich versuche seit geraumer zeit auf einem französischen laptop unter xp vmware server zu installieren (version 1.0.4-56528)
am ende der installation taucht folgende nachricht auf :
L'instruction 0x0108e794 emploie l'adresse memoire 0x00000000
la memoire ne peut pas etre written
wenn ich ok sage, kommt ein shutdown fenbster hoch das sagt dass das system gestoopt wird.
ausserdem kommt eine andere nachricht :

auf einem anderen forum hat mir jemand vorgeschlagen den firewall xp zu desaktivieren
das problem ist nicht nur nicht regelt worden sonder jetzt kann ich nicht mehr das parameter fenster des firewalls anzeigen :
windows ne peut pas afficher les parametres du parefeu windows
und sogar den laptop kann ich nicht mehr runterfahren :

sorry für die französischen texte - ich weiss nicht genau wie die übersetzt werden sollten. Ich hoffe sie sprechen trotzdem für sich. ansonsten kann ich approximative übersetzen

wenn sich VMWare nicht installieren lässt, liegt es meist daran, das
a) exotische HW im Einsatz ist, wir hatten hier schon mal jemanden, dessen CPU wurde nicht unterstützt, teilweise können auch Probleme mit der Netzkarte auftreten
b) man irgendwelche Security-SW laufen hat, die z.B. die Registry sperrt oder VMWare das Anlegen zusätzlicher Netzkarten, etc. verbietet.
Die erste Meldung zeigt einen 0-Pointer Zugriff an, das deutet wohl eher in Richtung -b-. Guck mal, ob es Log-Files von der Installation gibt (im Zielverzeichnis).
Übrigens der Reboot nach der Installation ist normal.
Die Reaktion nach der Änderung an der Firewall ist aber schon komisch.
Tipp: auch bei XP kann man auf englisch wechseln, zumindest konnte ich das hier.

Ich habe VPN installiert : Cisco Systems VPN Client 4.0.4
Aber die installation vmware mache ich ohne dass VPN aktiviert ist*
