VM's sind morgens aus :(

Nen frohes Neues Jahr euch,

wir haben seit einer Woche einen VMWare GSX 3.2 Server auf einem Win 2003 Enterprise System am laufen. Als VM's gibts mehere weitere Win 2003 Enterprise Server Systeme.

Seit dieser einen Woche standen bereits 2 unterschiedliche VM's am Morgen im ausgeschalteten Zustand.... Die Ereignisantzeige der VM sagte natütlich "Das System wurde unerwartet heruntergefahren...". Das Ereignisprotokoll beim GSX Server sagt nichts dazu....

Hat der GSX Server noch interne Logs, wo man solch Fehler lokalisieren kann?!

Ja sicher - die vmware.logs im Verzeichnis der Maschinen, die nicht zum Fruehstueck erschienen sind.

Hate einer eine Idee, was das sein kann?! Speicherproblem?!

Kann es sein, daß nachts irgendwelche Laufwerke/Pfade/Dateien z.B. wegen Backups nicht im Zugriff sind? Auf irgendetwas kann nicht zugegriffen werden: "access violation"

Das ist mir eben erst passiert. D.h. es war kein Backup aktiv. Alle anderen VM's sind ja auch noch am laufen.

Die VM um die es geht hab ich danach auch einfach wieder angemacht....läuft alles wunderbar...

Was sagen mir eigentlich diese *.dmp Dateien?!

das Thema steht zwar schon ein paar Tage, aber ich habe ab und zu dasselbe Problem. Mein Logfile sieht nahezu identisch aus, außer das vor dem Backtrace-Abschnitt noch folgendes steht:

wir setzen jetzt auf dem selben System VMWare Server ein. Dieser läuft seit senem Erscheinen ohne Probleme bei uns auf einem Windows 2003 Enterprise-System.

Ich weiß, dass ist nicht wirklich eine Lösung des Problems ... :|
