Ich habe eine überzählige SSD in den ESXi 5.1 gehängt und als Datastore onfiguriert.
Anschliessend versucht die VM auf den neuen SSD-Speicher zu verschieben.
Mit WinSCP hat das nicht funktioniert (nur für die kleineren Dateien).
Anschliessend versuch mit vmkfstools -i die Platte zu verschieben.
Ging auch nicht , weil die Zielplatte zu klein sei. Wieso ? Die Quelle ist ca. 51GB gross, die Zielplatte hat 128GB.
Also alles wieder zurück.
