Dienst VMware VirtualCenter Server wird nicht mehr gestartet

Hallo,

seit dem letzten Neustart starten die Dienste "VMware VirtualCenter Server" und "VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices" nicht mehr.

Der Ereignisanzeige von Windows sagt:
Der Dienst "VMware VirtualCenter Server" wurde mit folgendem dienstspezifischem Fehler beendet: Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden..

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Fehler #1 ist das die max. DB Groesse erreicht wurde
Fehler #2 man hat an den Resourcen fuer die VM bzw. OS gedreht und das moegen die Tomcats garnicht

ich kann die vpxd.log nicht finden. Ich habe nur eine vpxd-2910.log. Aus dieser Log-Datei werde ich nicht schlau. Kannst du mir helfen? Was müsste da evtl. stehen?

@ Joerg: wie kann ich diese beiden Fehler nachvollziehen bzw. beheben?

Martin,

lade das "aktuellste" vpxd-*.log hoch nach dem du einen Startvorgang durchgefuehrt hast und nenne uns auch den Zeitpunkt wobei letzteres keine Rolle spielen sollte da bei jedem Neustart ein Logfile Rotation stattfindet.

Was #1 angeht so frage dich doch was fuer eine DB du Einsetzt und dann pruefe deren Groesse.

Es macht den Eindruck als ob da versucht wird per IPv6 zu kommunizieren. Auch wenn noch fuer 5.1 aber kannst du mal http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2056296 angucken? Ansonsten die Frage nochmal hat sich was veraendert in der VM?

ich kann den Dienst für SSO nicht finden. Wie müsste der den heißen? Installiert sein muss er aber, denn es hat ja funktioniert bis zum Neustart.

Was meinst du damit, ob sich an der VM etwas geändert hat. Der vCenter Server ist doch auf der physischen Windows Maschine installiert?

Ich habe leider kein 5.5 hier wo ich mal selber gucken koennte sondern nur ein 5.1 aber was siehst du wenn du per Browser auf https://192.168.130.40:7444 gehst?

Ich habe nun außerdem noch IPv6 der Netzwerkkarte deaktiviert und einen Neustart durchgeführt.

Leider ohne Erfolg...

Die Anleitung aus dem Link: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2056296 habe ich auch durchgeführt - ohne Erfolg.

Was kann das nur sein?

Mein SSO zeigt eine Webseite. Wir muessten mal jemanden finden der auch nen 5.5 hat und bestaetigt das man was sehen muesste. Ansonsten wuerde ich netstat/tcpview verwenden um zu gucken ob was an 7444 lauscht.
