nachdem ich eine Festplatte entfernt habe(per Veeam Fast SCP) lassen sich keine Snapshots mehr erstellen:

Könnt Ihr bitte einen Tipp geben wie ich (bzw mein Backupprogramm) wieder Snapshots erstellen kann?

Poste mal alle vmdks ohne delta und flat im Namen.
Ausserdem brauchen wir noch die vmsd Datei

diesen Veeam SNapshot brauche ich bzw. habe ich gelöscht.

der screenshot hilft uns nicht weiter
ich brauche die dateien selber

also lad die bitte runter und pack sie mit den alten vmware.logs, der vmsd datei und der vmx-Datei in EIN zip-archive

Hast du oder sonst wer die schon editiert ???

also entweder kriege ich die Original files zu sehen oder ich lass es

wieso fehlt IDE0:1 in der aktuellen vmx ?

das sind original files
ich habe nur den servernamen gegen 9 ersetzt und die IP herausgelöscht.

CD ist doch da, in der VMX

IDE 0:1 war dann vermutlich die virtuelle Festplatte die ich gelöscht habe (durch löschen der VMDK über FastSCP). Das war nämlich eine 50GB VMDK die nicht im Gast zu sehen war.
Deswegen habe ich die gelöscht.

Ich nehme an wenn ich die VM per Converter auf einen anderen Host bzw datastore umziehe sollte Snapshot wieder gehen?
(habe momentan nichts frei deswegen versuche ich es zu beheben)

du hast die ide0:1 also nicht ueber den viclient geloescht ?

dann ist die vmsd ungueltig - loesch die mal - erstell einen neuen snapshot und entfern ihn direkt wieder

sry ich korrigiere mich:
ich hatte IDE0:1 über vsphere gelöscht.

Der Platz auf dem DS wurde aber nicht größer, also per FastSCP drauf und die .vmdk gelöscht.

und beim Snapshot erstellen, fehlt ihm ja scheinbar etwas wenn ich ins log schaue:

laut screenshot ist sie da ...

deswegen sag ich ja mit editierten files geb ich mich nicht ab - das was du hier zeigst ist inkonsistent

sollen wir mal direkt zusammen gucken per teamviewer ?
