ESX 3i nicht mehr über VC erreichbar

moin Leute,

Grundlegendes:
3x ESX 3i 3.5.0 build-123629 als Cluster
VirtualCenter 2.5.0 Build 119598

folgendes Problem:
Sämtliche ESX-Hosts sind über das VC nicht mehr erreichbar, auch nicht direkt auf einen Host über nen VMware Client auf einer anderen Maschine
-> Ping geht, VMs laufen und sind erreichbar (sie tun also ihren Dienst).

Tasks im VC sagt:

Upgrade VirtualCenter Agents on cluster hosts
-> Target: "unser"Cluster
-> Status: Comlpeted

Upgrade VirtualCenter Agent
-> Target: ESX 3
-> Status: Unable to Contact the Specified host

Upgrade VirtualCenter Agent
-> Target: ESX 2
-> Status: Unable to Contact the Specified host

Upgrade VirtualCenter Agent
-> Target: ESX 1
-> Status: Unable to Contact the Specified host

This might be because the host is not available on the network, there`s a network problem, or the managment services on the host are not responding.

Hat jemand ne Idee???

Den Management Dienst auf nem ESX schon mal neu gestartet? Ist auf dem vCenter eine Firewall Regel dazu gekommen oder etwas auf dem Weg dahin wurde geaendert?

Hallo Joerg,

Management Agents sind neu gestartet, hat nichts gebracht.
Firewallregeln sind auch nicht hinzugekommen.
Und wie gesagt, die einzelnen Hosts sind auch nicht direkt per IP über den Client erreichbar.

in den System Logs / VirtualCenter Agent steht folgendes:

'App' 262161 error [VpxaHalCnxHostagent] Failed to discover namespace: Input/Output error

'App' 294931 warning [ VpxaHalCnxHostagent] Could not resolve namespace for authenticaring to host agent
