ich habe VMServer 2.0.1 unter Ubuntu 9.0.4 installiert. Darin läuft eine VM mit Windows XP. Manchmal jedenfalls. Denn nach dem Power Off der VM lässt sie sich in der Regel nicht wieder starten. Das Web-GUI bietet die VM an, zeigt auch die Eigenschaften an (in der Summary), aber die Buttons und Menüeinträge zum Starten sind deaktiviert.
Ich finde im Log einige Minuten nach dem erfolgreichen Shutdown eine mir verdächtig vorkommende Meldung: "An error occurred while loading configuration". Immer wenn ich diese Meldung im Log habe, klappt der VM-Start nicht.
Oder ist schon die Meldung beim Shutdown "Failed to find activation record, event user unknown." ein Problem?

Es gibt einen Workaround: Neu-Installation des VMServers führt dazu, dass ich die VM anschließend wieder (einmal) starten kann. Aber das bringt ja auch nicht dauernd Spaß
Kennt jemand dieses Phänomen und seine Ursache, und vielleicht sogar eine Lösung?
