Hi,
bei mir tritt folgendes Problem auf seit ich meine Windows Xp Pro-VM neustarten wollte:
Nach dem der blaue Ladebalken mit dem XP Logo verschwindet bleibt die Console schwarz. Hab die Vm auf andere Systeme kopiert und auch mit einem VMware Server 1 mal versucht doch immer das selbe Problem.
Man kann die VM auch nicht pingen oder per Remotedesktop darauf verbinden.
Ich hatte keine systemkitischen Änderungen an XP vorgenommen auch nicht am Server (ebenfalls WinXP pro)
Irgendeine Idee was los ist? Was kann ich noch versuchen?

Mal davon abgesehen das XP nicht in der Liste der offiziell unterstützten Host-OS aufgeführt wird, sind mir ein paar Merkwürdigkeiten aufgefallen.
Das die VM auf einem Linux-Host ausprobiert wurde, sieht jeder. Du solltest solche Überbleibsel auch wieder an das installierte System anpassen. Mit der VMnet- und Floppy-Einstellung kann die VM nur auf einem Linux-Host funktionieren und die VM ist wegen fehlerhafter VMnet4-Einstellung auch nicht anpingbar.
Damit sollte die VM eigentlich bei Host-Start automatisch auch mit gestartet werden. War das so gewollt oder auch nur ein Überbleibsel?

Welche Änderungen hattest du denn vorgenommen? Wenn das Problem mitwandert, muß in der VM ja was entscheidendes gemacht worden sein.Ich hatte keine systemkitischen Änderungen an XP vorgenommen auch nicht am Server (ebenfalls WinXP pro)
PS: Auch wenn das Host-OS nicht bei VMware gelistet ist, bestehen gute Chancen es doch zum laufen zu bekommen. Unsere Hilfe ist davon unabhängig, allerdings halten sich viele Benutzer an die VMware-Liste.
