ich habe das Problem, dass ich für eine VM eine bestimmte UUID setzen muss. Diese VM lief vorher auf einem KVM HV ohne probleme. Ich habe die VM aktuell auf einen ESX umgezoge und in der .vmx den Parameter:

uuid.bios = "3d dd 34 42 0b 67 1a 85 8e 4b 02 7a bd a0 08 53"
gesetzt.
Wenn ich die VM starte, steht im log:

Warum passiert das? Was ist an 3d dd 34 42 0b 67 1a 85 8e 4b 02 7a bd a0 08 53 nicht gültig?
Das passiert übrigens auch schon, wenn ich über den vSphere Client die Konfiguration der VM öffne und mit OK wieder schließe.
Alles was ich gefunden habe zu dem Thema sagt aus, dass die UUID manuell geändert werden kann (ohne andere Abhängigkeiten im ESXi 5.5)
uuid.action oder die Verbindung von MAC und UUID habe ich schon erfolglos versucht.
Any Idea? Need more Information?
