Wiederhergestellte VM - Fehler

Hi Leutz,

ich hab leider nichts finden können das mir weiterhelfen könnte, vielleicht schafft ihr das ja
ich hab hier ein Problem aus dem ich nicht schlau werde, es geht um folgendes:

Ich habe einen bestehenden Physikalischen PC mittels GHOST gesichert, soweit so gut. Jetzt will ich aus dieser Sicherung eine vorhandene VM "Wiederherstellen" und lege diese einzelne VM in meinem neuen Physikalischen System in meinem gewünschten Ordner ab. Wenn ich jetzt VMWare 5 starte, dann auf Open und die genannte VM auswähle (die VM ist eine Red Hat Fedora Installation - der Host ist Windows XP) bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

jetzt kann ich Yes oder No auswählen - egal was, das System funktioniert nicht, bin jetzt kein Linux Guru, eher ein Noob, aber er hängt sich bereits ziemlich früh nach dem Starten auf....kann man hier nen Screenshot posten? Zwecks der Linux Fehlermeldungen, die letzte Zeile lautet:

leider hab ich bisher noch nichts gefunden, das mir weiterhelfen kann, ich poste aber vorsichtshalber mal das aktuellste log, vielleicht hilft das weiter, Soundcard etc. hatte ich alles deaktiviert, das Endergebniss ist allerdings das selbe als wenn sie ganz normal mitgestartet werden...:

Hoert sich so an, als waere dein ghost-image defekt - ich kann leider nicht genau nachvollziehen was du gemacht hast - deswegen ???

ne, das Ghost Image ist einwandfrei, ich hab auch versucht eine andere vm wiederherzustellen und zu starten, ausser das er dort kurz meckert wegen seinem Konfigurationsfile, wo ich auf Create drücke (was ich auch hier gemacht habe) funktioniert diese andre VM einwandfrei.....

wie gesagt, ich hab die 3 Partition des PC`s geghostet, die Sicherung dann mit dem Ghost Explorer geöffnet und mir diese eine Red Hat VM wiederhergestellt, nur zum Laufen bring ich das blöde Teil nicht mehr.....

Hi,

auf dem alten PC (den ich gesichert hatte) hatte ich alleine an VM`s über 16 GB abgelegt, der PC auf dem die VM aber jetzt laufen soll, hat nicht mehr so viel Platz wie der alte, folglich kann ich nur einzelne VM`s wiederherstellen, um sie dann auf dem anderen PC zu nutzen....

Hallo nochmals,

wollte nur mitteillen (falls mal wieder jemand so ein Problem hat) das ich eine neue Festplatte, welche genug Platz für die Ghost siherung hatte, eingebaut und per Dos Boot -> Ghost -> Partition from Image die Sicherung rückgespielt hatte....

und dann funktionierte meine VM auch wieder, abgesehen davon das er ein neues Config File erstellen mußte, aber damit kann ich leben. Wieso das mit dem ghost Explorer aber nicht funktionierte, wird mir weiterhin ein Rätsel bleiben....
