Is it possible to install ESXi 8.0 ?

I could not find it in Comp. Guide

The CPU is from 2013 or so.... try it and report. On the HCL you will find server grade equipment and not desktop toys (no offense!)

Well you are right.
You know about 15 years ago you could still build a home office to test and learn VM up to version 6.0/6.5
Those times are probably over now.

Yes,
also the "VMware Workstation" product required certain CPU features today. When you deal with 10 years old HW it means that you also have to use 10 year old software from that time period.
