Hi

Ich habe drei HP Microserver mit je 16 GB Ram und einem Xeon 1260L. Ohne Vcenter. Vsphere 6 wurde mittels Image von HP installiert. Ich möchte nun auf Vspehre 6 U2 updaten. Update von HP besorgt und via SCP auf den Servern hochgeladen

Mit folgendem Listening geht das Update schief.

blöde frage, bist du im Wartungsmodus?

sonnst von cd mit update booten und so updaten, laut Fehlermeldung sagt ja das du es nicht von nem Aktiv laufenden System updaten kannst

Hi

Die waren schon im Maintanance Modus. Via esxcli system maintenanceMode set --enable true

Jemand anderes hatte genau das selbe Problem. Es wurde geraten zu verifizieren ob der Maintanance-Modus aktiviert ist. Sofern aktiviert das System rebooten und dann noch mal versuchen. Habe ich gemacht und hat funktioniert.

Ich habe die Systeme im Januar installiert und die liefen bis dato non-stop. Nun der ESXi Embedded Host Client scheint nun besse zu funktionieren. Das war was ich primär haben wollte. Das Update hat sich also gelohnt
