Ich habe mir eine 64bit VM mit Ubuntu Server auf einem Windows XP 32bit (Core2 Duo) Host erstellt. Das lief auch alles problemlos. Die VM soll später auf einem Windows Server 64bit Host laufen (Opterons). Jetzt wollte ich die VM testweise auf einem Windows Server 2003 Host deployen (32bit mit Intel Xeon XPUs) und dort bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung.
This CPU is VT-capable, but VT is not enabled (check your BIOS settings).
You have configured this virtual machine as a 64-bit guest operating system. However, this host's CPU is not capable of running 64-bit virtual machines or this virtual machine has 64-bit support disabled.

Kann das an den Xeons liegen? Ich habe Intels VT im Bios aktiviert. Die Fehlermeldung bekomme ich trotzdem noch. Kann ich irgendwo im Windows Server 2003 überprüfen, ob Intel VT tatsächlich aktiviert ist?
