segfaults in httpd.vmware und vmware-authd

OpenSuse 10.3, x64 Installation auf AMD64 x2 3000+, 2GB RAM

VMware server 1.0.4-56528 i386 installiert

Beim starten des httpd management daemons:

falls ich per VMware console eines Windows Hosts drauf gehe, kriege ich nur:

De- und neu installiert brachte keine Besserung.

Frage: Kennt jemand das Problem und hat eine Lösung?
Gibt's die VMWare Server auch als 64-Bit rpm?

Auf Opensuse 10.2 (allerdings als 32Bit Variante) läuft VMWare Server 1.0.4 ohne Probleme und wie einige hier berichten ja scheinbar auch auf 10.3.
Die Variante auf 64Bit lief bei mir initial und 10.3 auch, jetzt allerdings nicht mehr.
Ich habe da irgend ein Update der letzten Zeit im Verdacht ...

Ja, es scheint sich zu bestätigen!
Im VMWare.com Forum häufen sich Fälle/Probleme mit Opensuse 10.3 mit den aktuellen updates, während die Basis-Installation von der DVD einwandfrei funktionierte

Habe eben noch mal ein YOU nachgeschoben. Da gab es einige Änderungen in der glibc, welche segfaults jetzt unterbinden.
Restart und schont scheint das VMware Problem gelöst.
Keine Segfaults mehr, httpd.vmware läuft und auch die Console verbindet jetzt wieder ohne Fehler ...
sieht also aus, also ob das Problem gelöst ist.
