Hallo,

Dell hat ja für die Serie eine neue FW rausgebracht: 07.84.44.60
Ebenso eine neue Manager DVD.
Auf dieser ist eine ESXCLI Script, um bei der MD3xxxx unter ESX(i) 4.1 und 5 das ALUA zu aktivieren.

Hat hier jemand "Ahnung" ab welcher FW der Md3XXXX das funktioniert? Kann man dem ESXI im laufenden Betrieb "beibringen"? Hat das schon we gemacht?
Die Download-seite ist etwas undurchsichlich, aber mit der FW kann die Kiste dann wohl auch VAAI?!

Der fragte sich warum du wissen must ab welcher FW das moeglich ist wenn man weis das es die 07.84.44.60 kann? Ansonsten ich weis es dann nicht.

Den Hinweis auf die neue Funktion hattest du schon mal bekommen. Damit bekommt das Lun not on prefered Path dank ALUA hoffentlich in den Griff. Das mit dem VAAI ist ein nettes schmankerl.
