LSI Raid Controller wird nicht erkannt

Hallo,
ich habe ein großes Problem mit meinem LSI Logic SAS3041E-R Controller.
Der LSI Raid Controller wird nicht von meinem Mainboard (ASRock H67M-GE (B3)) erkannt, neuestes Bios/Firmware ist schon auf auf dem Mainboard und dem LSI Raid Controller.
Als Hinweis ich habe nur einen PCIe x16 Steckplatz auf dem Mainboard, die Karte ist eine PCIe x4 (sollte ja Abwärtskompatibel sein).
Testweise habe ich den LSI Raid Controller mein altes Mainboard (GigaByte GA-G33M-DS2R) gesteckt, dort ist ein PCIe x4 Steckplatz vorhanden und der Raid Controller wird sofort erkannt.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit den LSI Raid Controller auf meinem Mainboard nur mit PCIe x16 Steckplatz zum laufen zu bringen?
