Hallo !
Ich bin schon total verzweifelt, da ich auf meinem notebook unter "Vista Home Premium" die "VMware 2.0.1, build=build-156745" nicht zum Laufen bekomme.

Ich habe bereits tagelang gegoogled aber nicht gefunden, was wirklich half.

Kann mir jemand helfen ?

2 Dinge gleich vorneweg. Vista, egal ob in 32/64bit oder welches Servicepack, ist als Desktop-OS denkbar ungeeignet als Host-OS. Vista wird offiziell von VMware nur als Gast-OS unterstützt. W7 wird daher aufgrund seiner Desktop-Ausrichtung wohl das gleiche Schicksal ereilen.

Deine hostd-9.log ist zwar ganz nett und zeigt auch jede Menge Fehler, aber ohne sonstige Angaben zum Host, ist die fast nutzlos. Auch wenn daraus hervorgeht, daß du wohl eine Dualcore-CPU mit 1GHz (Speedstep oder C'n'Q aktiv?) hast, reicht das nicht.
Hier hast du mal eine Liste von Fragen, die zur Lösungsfindung helfen könnten und die bei weitem nicht vollständig ist:

• Lief die Inst überhaupt komplett durch?
• Hattest du dabei auch alle möglichweise verdeckten Fenster bestättigt?
• UAC, de-/aktiviert?
• Inst als Admin gestartet?
• Welche Dienste/Damons wurden bei dir installiert?
• Kompletten Reboot nach der Inst gemacht?
• Welche Dienste laufen oder zeigen Fehler im Ereignislog?
• Welche Ports verwendest du für die VMware-Verwaltung?
• Ports sind frei oder andersweitig belegt?
• Firewall aktiv?
• Ausnahmen für VMware erstellt?
• Irgendwelche Sec-Suiten ala Kasperle, Symandreck oder HP?
• Virenscanner?
• Ausnahmen für VMware und vor allem die VMs eingerichtet?
• Ist VMware die einzigste VT-Lösung auf dem Host?
