Kann XP nicht normal booten

Hi,

ich hab folgendes Problem, ich bekomme weder mit dem VMWare Player noch mit dem VMWare Server XP (als Gastbetriebssystem unter Ubuntu 6.10) zum Laufen, bei jedem Bootvorgang bricht es noch vor dem Anmeldebildschirm ab. Starte ich XP jedoch im abgesicherten Modus klappt es.

Du hast ja so ziemlich alles ausgewählt.

Ändere mal die EInstellungen in der vmx, so dass USB, Sound, Netz, COM und LPT deaktiviert sind.

Dann booten.

Wenn es klappt, eines nach dem anderen wieder hinzufügen.

Klappt leider auch nicht. Bin mittlerweile auf Feisty Fawn und dem VMWare Server umgestiegen, jedoch funktioniert der Bootvorgang dort genauso wenig.

In der VMX Datei hab ich so gut wie alles deaktiviert, XP lässt sich trotzdem nur im abgesicherten Modus starten...

Hab nun in Windows direkt die Treiber deaktiviert und nun funktioniert auch der normale Bootvorgang.

Aber damit habe ich natürlich auch das Netzwerk deaktiviert (sobald ich das aktiviere bricht der Bootvorgang ab), wie kann es erreichen, dass ich mit dem Gast Betriebssystem XP auf das WLAN Netzwerk von Ubuntu/Linux zugreifen kann?

Mal so eine Frage am Rande: Wie hast du das Gast Windows installiert? Neu in ein Image, Konverter oder wie?
