Jabra kablloses Headset mit Jabra Link 370

Hallo,

folgendes Setup:
host: Thinkpad T480 mit Windows 10 Enterprise
guest: VMPlayer mit Windows 10 Pro

Im host funktioniert das Headset einwandfrei, im guest leider nicht.
Das Headset wird in der Liste der removable devices als "GN Netcom Jabra Link 370" geführt.
Ich kann es im guest connecten und in den Sound-Einstellungen wird es dann auch als Eingabe- und Ausgabe-Gerät angezeigt.
Nur funktionieren tut es nicht. Woran könnte das liegen ?

Was meinst du mit "funktioniert nicht" genau?

Man hört nichts und in den Sound Einstellungen sieht man keine Mikrofon Aktivität.

Lade mal bitte das ungekürzte "vmware.log" dieser VM hoch.
Es wäre zur Fehleranalyse sinnvoll:
  • VM ohne Snapshot und ohne Win10-Schnellstart richtig runter fahren
  • VM starten
  • warten bis das Gast-OS inklu Benutzeranmeldung vollständig geladen sind
  • USB-Verbindung herzustellen (ruhig 3, 4 reconnecten)

Meine Vermutung ist, daß der BT-Adapter hier als HID-Gerät geführt wird.

Tritt das Problem nur auf, wenn das NB im Dock steckt?

das Problem besteht auch ohne Docking station.

Das Problem dürfte das HID sein. Eine zweite USB-Maus und -Tastatur lassen sich auch nicht einfach so in eine VM reinreichen.

Kannst du bitte eines der anderen USB-Geräte versuchen in die VM zu reichen und davon wieder ein Log zu machen?

mit einem einfachen kabelgebundenen Plantronics headset funktioniert Audio, wenn auch völlig verzerrt, Mik tut überhaupt nicht.
Eine Unterschied zwischen USB compatibility 2.0 und 3.0 konnte ich nicht feststellen.

Mit dem "Lenovo ThinkPad Dock USB Audio" klappt das Reinreichen.

Das die Qualität nicht so berauschend ist, war zumindest mir im Grunde klar. Die Zeit in einer VM ist abhängig von der Host- und Gast-Auslastung flexibel, daher lassen sich Störgeräusche damit nicht vermeiden.
Es lassen sich weiterhin auch nicht alle Geräte in einer VM betreiben. Sowas testet im Grunde kein HW-Hersteller, dazu gibt es schon genügend Probleme auf einem realen OS.

nun funktioniert es. 2 Sachen waren notwendig:

1. Im host installieren sich die Jabra Treiber automatisch, im Guest jedoch nicht. Da muss man die Treiber manuell installieren.
2. Das Mic tat erst, als in den "Sound Einstellungen"-> "Mikrofon Datenschutzeinstellungen" -> "Zulassen, dass Apps auf Ihr Mikrofon zugreifen"
eingeschaltet wurde, obwohl das Mic nur in den Sound-Einstellungen getestet werden sollte.
