Virtuellen Server von Workstation auf Player abspielen

Hallo!
Ich muss eine DVD für meine Abschlussarbeit in der Schule abgeben, wo sich sowohl mein Virtueller Server (Debian) als auch meine Android Applikation (mit XP im Emulator) lauffähig für VMPlayer befinden soll-
Ich habe während der Enwicklung auf einem Virtuellen Server auf unseren Schulserver gearbeitet. Nun wurde dieser exportiert und soll unter VMWare Player lauffähig sein.
Ich habe mir eine VMX Datei unter
http://www.easyvmx.com/new-easyvmx.shtml erstellt um mein Image (vmdk File) starten zu können.
Das Problem ist nun ,dass das Image SCSI benötigt und deshalb nicht startet. Ich habe darauf das vmx file um folgendes ergänzt:

scsi0:0.deviceType = "disk"Läuft trotzdem nicht.
Bitte helft mir!

Hast du die original vmx Datei noch ?

wie gesagt i habe mir online eine erstellt, ich habe mit dem image keine erhalten.

Womit wurde die VM denn urspruenglich erstellt ?
ich finde nichts von deinen scsi-Aenderungen
evtl fehlte dir

irgendein programm von VMWare genaueres weiß ich leider nicht. Wie oben beschrieben handelt es sich um das originale von der website ohne meinen Änderungen, da diese nicht funktioniert haben

die leute von denen du die vmdk hast sollten auch noch die passende vmx-file haben.
Probier deine scsi-variante nochmal - setz aber die zeile von mir dazu

Seit Player-Version 3 kannst du dir die Mühe mit der VMX-Erstellung auch ersparen. Seitdem kann der Version Player eigenständig neue VMs erstellen und damit auch passende VMX-Dateien schreiben.
