The vmnetcfg.exe is included in the installer, but won't be installed.

1. Run the installer with /e option. For example:
VMware-player-3.0.0-197124.exe /e .\extract
All contents will be extracted to "extract" folder.

2. Open "network.cab" and copy vmnetcfg.exe to your installation folder,
typically "C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Player\".

Deine Anleitung ist ja nicht schlecht, allerdings habe ich dir mal den entscheidenen Teil hervorgehoben und das dürfte wohl alles ändern. Dein Link war vmnetcfg.exe missing in vmware preview ... :twisted:

Würde das bitte mal jemand bei der Release-Version verifizieren :!:

Ich hab deine Mecker schon glesen und mich verwirrt nur das folgende Posting etwas. :shock:

PS: Don't bother copying an older version of vmnetcfg.exe from some older version of the player / workstation if you're running Windows 7 - it'll crash. (This one runs fine).

Nicht wundern - die Qualitaets-endkontrolle hat wohl geschlafen.

vmnetcfg.exe ist vorhanden (eingepackt in ein cab-file) - wird aber nicht installiert
