Hallo, hab eine französisches Vista in meiner VMwarePlayer laufen (2.5.2 build-156735).

Nun folgendes Problem, bin mit der Maschine in den Ruhezustand gefahren und jetzt kommt folgende Fehlermedlung:

A log file is available in "F:\Windows Vista Ultimate French\vmware.log". A core file is available in "F:\Windows Vista Ultimate French\vmware-vmx-3396.dmp".
Please request support and include the contents of the log file and core file.
To collect data to submit to VMware support, run "vm-support".
We will respond on the basis of your support entitlement.

Kann ich das ganze noch irgendwie retten?

loesch die *.vmem file und probiers noch mal
laeuft vielleicht deine Platte voll ?

das vmware.log ansich sieht nicht so schlimm aus

Hab ich gemacht, dann kommt folgende Meldung:

Failed to open the file "H:\Windows Vista Ultimate French\Windows Vista.vmem": Could not find the file.
Error encountered while trying to restore the state of group memory from file "H:\Windows Vista Ultimate French\Windows Vista.vmss".

Bestätige mit OK.

Und dann kommt:

"Your virtual machine did not resume because of an error. If you believe the error is correctable and you want to preserve the suspended state so you can correct the error after the virtual machine is powered off, select Preserve. To discard the suspended state, select Discard."

Gibt zur Auswahl: Preserve oder Discard

Aber irgendwie funktioniert das bei beiden net das es wieder startet, muss ich da noch was einstellen?
