Hello,
I use VMWare Fusion 12 in order to learn network themes.

Is it possible to configure VMWare Fusion so that I have 2 networks connected via Linux router and not default VMware Routing?
I ask because I want to excercise to configure Linux as router.

When not, than how can I learn it? GNS3?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hallo,
if possible switch to german.
Otherwise you should use the offical vmware forum.
You can try the following configuration#

VM 1
Router (for example sophos utm) with 2 nics
a bridged
b host only

VM
VM with linux or windows with 1 nic
a) host only

This VM is the one to work with.

Use static IPs for the VM to avoid typical network-problems of beginners.
Check the rules of the router after the initial setup. If traffic is blocked by default access to the internet is impossible. ping an tracert auf often seperated blocked.
