shrink bietet keine Partition zum shrink'en an

Hallo,

habe hier eine Suse 10.1 virtual machine, unter Linux Workstation 5 erstellt, dann unter WinXP mit VMPlayer betrieben, dort mit VMXBuilder optimiert. Jetzt will ich die virtual machine unter Linux und der Workstation shrink'en. "Shrink" der vmware-toolbox bietet mir aber keine Partitionen an! Klicke ich auf den "shink"-Button zum Ausführen, erhalte ich ein pop-up, das mir sagt, ich solle einen Partition auswählen!

Wie bringe ich vmware-toolbox dazu, mir z.B. / (=root) als device anzubieten?

Hinweis: linux ist auf zwei Partitionen installiert, /dev/sda1 und /dev/sda2. Vielleicht wird vmware-toolbox damit nicht fertig.

"Lösung" selbst gefunden: die vmdk sind etwas kaputt. Es hilft nur einhängen der vmdk in eine andere Virtual machine, eine neue Partition/FEstplatte konfigurieren, dann Partition umkopieren, bootloader installieren. Die Zielpartition läßt sich dann ganz normal shrink'en.
