Dear VMware Customer,
We are pleased to announce the availability of VMware Workstation 4.5.2 Release Candidate. VMware wants to offer a select group of advanced users the opportunity to experience updates to Workstation first hand.
The release candidate includes many fixes we’ve implemented based on your feedback.
New features in Workstation 4.5.2 are:
1. Experimental support for 64-bit host operating systems (AMD64 Opteron, Athlon 64 or Intel IA-32e CPU) 2. Experimental support for Solaris x86 v9 and v10 Beta 3. Experimental support for SLES 9 and SUSE Linux 9.1
In addition, Workstation 4.5.2 RC allows you to create, manage and modify virtual disk files from the command line or within scripts with the VMware Virtual Disk Manager utility.
