Virtuelle Maschine startet nicht mehr

Tag zusammen,

ich bin der Neue und melde mich gleich mal mit einem Problem

Ich habe eine virtuelle Maschine aus einem Image gerettet, weil mir die Installation bei einem System-Crash verloren gegangen war.
Jetzt bekomme ich die virtuelle Maschine leider nicht mehr gestartet. Ich bekomme die Fehlermeldung:

Cannot open the disk 'C:\VM\snapshot\System-000006.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Reason: The system cannot find the file specified.

Die Files liegen aber alle in dem o. g. Verzeichnis.
Es handelt sich um eine VM 6.5 WS unter Windows XP.

Für hilfreiche Tipps wäre ich sehr dankbar!

Guten Morgen Ulli,

so, ich habe gerade beschlossen, dass ich das Thema zu den Akten lege. Ich habe noch eine ältere Sicherung, die sich deutlich kooperativer verhält. Ich denke, es macht mehr Sinn, die fehlenden Daten eben nachzuarbeiten als jetzt stundenlang Zeit - vor allem deine - zu investieren bei unsicherem Ausgang. Ich hatte mal einen Festplattenfehler. Konnte die Daten zwar noch runterkopieren, aber vielleicht hat eine der VM-Dateien doch etwas abbekommen. Und bevor ich das jetzt alles ausprobiert und gemacht und getan habe, habe ich die Sachen auch nachgearbeitet.
