vmware-config.pl ?
Hallo ihr Spezialisten
hab ein Problem mit vmware
meinSystem: AMD Athlon 1200 MHz
host : Suse 9.0 kernel 2.4.21-99 athlon
vmware 4.05 6030
guest: Wiin XP Professionel
Problem: bei vmwar-config.pl kommt Meldung bei

make: Entering directory '/tmp/vmware-config/vmmon-only/driver-2.4.21-99-athlon
make(.)leaveing directoriy....
make(2) Entering directory '/tmp/vmware-config/vmmon-only/driver-2.4.21-99-athlon

Anschließend kommt die Meldung
The module loads perfectly in the running kernel.

Was hast du fuer einen Host? USB2? RAM? Laptop? EXT3?

Hi
Also ist da was faul!

Was hast du fuer ein Brennprogramm? Manche davon koennen vielleicht isos speichern.

re : cat /dev/hdc >> linux_cd1.iso

"Mar 28 12:53:09 vadder VMware[init]: /usr/bin/vmware-nmbd: error while loading shared libraries: libpopt.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Was sagt mit dies?

Benutzt du eigentlich die vmware any-to-any patches?
C.
Hast du eigentlich eine Funkmaus oder Tastatur? Wenn ja - probier mal was normales.

hi ihr Profi's,
hab die Kiste nun am Laufen. Der Tip von easyLINUX mit
cd /usr/src/linux &&make cloneconfig &&make dep und
ln -s /usr/lib/libpopt.so.1 /usr/lib/libpopt.so.0

Dito bein Windows 2000.
