Vmware on Winxp NAT problem
Verfasst: 19.11.2002, 09:59
Sorry for the english on a deutsch forum, but I did not found any english forum.
I installed the Vmware 3.2.0-2230 on Windows XP Professional, but there are some problems.
The vmnetdhcp.conf and vmnat.conf files does not existed in system32.
I created them by online manual.
After that i have an error message in syslog:Vmnetdhcp error: Could not read HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VMnetDHCP\Parameters\VirtualEthernetsegments\8\ListenTo
I found that VirtualEthernetsegments\8\ListenTo key does not exist. I created it with string type.
Could you tell me what have i enter into this key?
Or could you tell me how can I use Nat on Winxp Pro with fixed IP numbers?
Thans in advance,
Peter Dudas
