Wenn ich im Guest die Druckersoftware Cups konfigurieren will, muss ich http://localhost:631 aufrufen, um in die GUI zu gelangen. Ich erhalte aber immer die Antwort "Seite nicht gefunden". Kann das mit VMWare Workingstation zusammen hängen?

Versuch mal 127.0.0.1 statt localhost.

Wenn das nicht geht, schalte im Gast mal die Firewall ab.

Und kontrolliere mal, ob die Pakete überhaupt installiert sind.

firewall abgeschaltet. 127.0.0.1 eingesetzt. Keine Äderung. Fehler liegt ganz eindeutig in der conf. von CUPS, aber wo genau?

Cups ist in "ps ax" nicht sichtbar. Auch nicht nachdem ich cupsys mehere Male erfolgreich("ok") gestartet habe.
