Fehlermeldung beim booten von Win2000 - Disk corrupted?

Hallo zusammen,

beim booten von Win2000 bekomme ich immer wieder folgende Fehlermeldung:



Zusätzlich kommt von Zeit zu Zeit folgende Fehlermeldung:



Was kann ich machen? Habe schon testweise versucht die *.lck files und Ordner zu löschen. Gebracht hat's nix. Kann mir vielleicht jemand weiterhelfen?

Die VM läuft bzw. sollte laufen bzw. lief schon im VMPlayer und der Workstation.
Guest ist Win2000 Host ist WinXP SP3. Das Image liegt auf einer internen IDE-Platte. Irgendwann wurde die VM nicht sauber runtergefahren (Akku vom Notebook war leer).

Vermutung A: Hostfestplatte stirbt bald

Vermutung B: virtuelle Festplatte extrem fragmentiert - oder Hostfestplatte laeuft voll

Vermutung C: VM instabil durch extrem viel snapshots

poste mal das vmware.log - dann weiss ich mehr

Habe mir eben das Log von der VMWare angesehen.
Ich setze auf Vermutzung B denn das sind die Symptome, die ich bis zum letzten funktionierenden Start hatte. Auch das Log geht in diese Richtung.

Wenn ich versuche die virtuelle Disk zu defragmentieren, dann sagt VM die Disk müsste repariert werden. Habe jetzt mal versucht eine neue zweite Disk einzurichten. Mal sehen, ob die VM dann wieder startet.

Das geht nicht mehr lange gut.
Ich kann dir nur dringend anraten die "Windows 2000 Professional.vmdk" asap irgendwo anders hin zu kopieren.

Falls das nicht gehen sollte - versuch einen fullclone anzulegen - auch auf einer anderen Festplatte al;s Ziel

Falls das auch nicht mehr geht - versuch die vmdk mit vdk - readonly zu mounten und rette was noch zu retten ist

Kannst Du mir bitte ein wenig Hintergrundwissen dazu geben?

Warum geht das nicht mehr lange gut?
Aktuelle kann ich die VM nicht starten. Ich komme immer wieder bis zur Startphase, wo die Netzwerkverbindung initialisiert wird. Dann der Fehler. Kann dann immer nochmal "continuen" bis die Sicherheitsrichtlinien übernommen werden. Irgendwann breche ich dann immer entnervt ab.
Wie ist das log zu deuten? So wie ich das sehe ist die Kapa von der virtuellen Disk erschöpft oder wie Du sagtest extrem fragmentiert. Kann ich das irgendwie direkt reparieren oder muss ich den Umweg gehen, also

1) alte virtuelle Disk wegsichern
2) neue Win2000 VM anlegen
3) alte, gesicherte Disk einbinden

oder eben die zweite Variante mit vdk?

viel kann ich nicht sagen - ich kenn ja nur einen Bruchteil deines logs
aber ich kenne die Meldungen ... - wie gesagt - hoechste Alarmstufe.

Reparieren ? - jein - es gibt eine vmware-vdiskmanager -R die versucht sowas - halte ich aber fuer zwecklos - hat bei mir noch nie was genutzt.

Ohh man ich werd bekloppt.
Habe die komplette VM jetzt auf eine externe Platte mit massig freiem Speicher kopiert.
Habe dann die VM normal gestartet und siehe da, diesmal kam kein einziger Fehler.

Aber was ich festgestellt habe. In der Konfiguration der VM wird der allokierte Speicher der virtuellen Disk nicht richtig angezeigt. Lt. der Konfiguration sollten noch 20 Gb frei sein.
Das gestartete Win2000 sagt mir dass von den vorgesehen 50 Gb nur noch 2 Gb frei sind.

Soll ich Dir das log nochmal schicken? Kann man daraus tiefergehende Erkenntnisse ziehen?
