Das ist meine mit vmx-wizard erstellte *.vmx, die die DVDs nicht einbindet. Seit gestern bekomme ich beim Start auch noch die Fehlermeldung, dass ich nunmehr das USB-Gerät entfernen kann. Also meldet sie offenbar auch noch irgendwelche USB-Geräte bei Windows ab. Ich kann aber noch nicht identifizieren, worum es sich dabei handelt; die ext. Festplatte läuft und der Card-Reader auch.)

Hier habe ich aber bisher bei der Installation von Suse10 abgebrochen habe, weil meine Festplatte partitioniert und formatiert werden sollte.
celestia2006 Antwort hier beruhigt mich zwar etwas, aber so ganz ruhig bin ich noch nicht. Ich habe zwar verstanden, und es auch so angenommen, dass keine Partitionierung und Formatierung vorgenommen wird unter dem VMwarePlayer ...aber eine Restangst bleibt
