Fedora Core2 Guest mit GLX-Extension

Ich habe VMware Version 4.5.2.
Als Gastsystem hab ich eine Fedora Core 2 installiert.
VMwareTools sind auch installiert (nach dieser Anleitung: http://kerneltrap.org/node/view/3408 ).

Meine Frage:
Wie kann ich die GLX-Extensions benutzen?
Wenn ich glxinfo ausführe bekomme ich folgendes:name of display: :0.0

Ich will ja keine HW-3D Beschleunigung (geht ja auch net über VMWare) aber MESA sollte doch irgendwie gehen oder???
